Terms and Conditions:

Thank you for choosing to enrol with us! We are so excited to be exploring an exciting new journey within the Drama and theatre industry whilst building a community of wonderful young performers. We promise to deliver the highest quality lessons and workshops, that enrich and nurture the social development and confidence within our young performers.

Cancellations:

To cancel your subscription, we require the notice at least a week prior to the new term. We unfortunately are unable to refund the payment if your child has to leave unexpectedly during the term, as our subscriptions cover the entire term. You can notify us via email with your wish to cancel, addressed to stagestarsacademy@hotmail.com

Class and behavior expectations:

Within the interests of other students and all staff members at Stage Stars Academy, by paying and attending our sessions you are agreeing to the following policy.If a child demonstrates violent or disturbing behavior that seems threatening and or endangering of any other member of staff or other student during the classes, we have the right to remove the child from participating any further within the Academy. We believe that all of our lessons should be shared within a respectful and safe environment that enriches young performer’s lives, and we will not tolerate any form of abuse towards any members within our community.​

Illness and unattended sessions:

We cannot refund unattended sessions. We can offer alternative sessions (circumstance dependent) if we have the ability to do so within the term, but this will be limited initially. There are rare circumstances that are exceptional to this, but this will be managed on an individual basis where required.

Allergies and Medication:

Please inform all staff of any allergies and medical conditions, any medication you require staff to look after during the sessions. Our staff are first aid trained but if concerned about the health of a student who is unwell, we have to the right to call home and ask for the child to be picked up.

Cancellations:

On the very unusual occasion that one our classes has to be cancelled, we will issue a credit towards next term, or provide a refund where requested alternatively.

Damage to items brought to the sessions:

We do not take any responsibility for damage to items students bring to our sessions.

​

Damage to our venues:

If a student causes any damage to any of our hired venues, parents and guardians are responsible for the expenses.

 

Photography Permissions and information:

If there are any accessibility needs please let us know via the Class4Kids information page when registering a child, and if you wish to email any additional information for our staff we are more than happy to answer any questions and try to accommodate for our performers where possible. It is essential that you keep the information on Class4Kids updated and that it is the correct information. We MUST be in possession of a prime contact and an emergency contact at all times. If someone other than a parent or carer, such as a friend’s parent or carer is picking up a young performer, please email us to inform us of this before the sessions.

Payments and subscriptions: 

Our classes work by monthly direct debit. By setting up a DD, you are consenting to the charge listed on the 1st of each moth.  Should the direct debit should fail upon first payment attempts, we will send a reminder before the next session and ask for the setup before the classes continue. If your child attends sessions in between the trial date and  the first payment, we will charge a covering payment to the account to cover all sessions that your child has participated within. We require one week at the very minimum's notice in order to cancel any Dorect Debits, and we need this before the 1st of the month the next payment is due.

The overall monthly cost is calculated annually and divided by sessions and costs that make our services affordable for parents, so that even if one month has less sessions, other months will compensate as some may have as many as 5 and some have 3 due to half terms etc. Prices may be susceptible to change due to a variety of reasons and we will always inform you of any changes to charges beforehand.

Health and Safety: 

All of Stage Stars staff hold Enhanced DBS checks, and we hold public liability insurance and appropriate First Aid training too. For any additional Special Educational Needs, Allergies or any other information you may consider useful to inform us with, please contact
